On my way back from work I snapped this shot of the rain:
The steam coming off the roads coupled with the rain to blur much of what you could see, and the water pools made the stoplights seem brighter than normal. Driving conditions have steadily been this hydroplane-risky because the downpours have been more than the ground can soak up. (Not so great for going outside, but great for cocoa and cuddling!)

The weather here has been pretty nice, except for a little rain the past couple days. But the temperatures have finally cooled off. I love fall, so I was getting tired of the 85 degree days. Now it’s around 70.
That sounds lovely! 70 degrees is about perfect. I’m ready for fall clothes, particularly some of my cuter jackets and sweaters. It’s nice being a girl at this time of year.
